• Request for physical Performa of the selected Quote/Bid and Book the car at the Dealership
• Complete the Purchase by making requisite payments, complete the documentation and other formalities at the Dealership and Buy with confidence

• How Quotations are different from competitive Bidding

On an average, Competitive Bidding help increase the offer (Discount) by 20%

Quotations- A quotation is a detailed Price quotes with detailed information on the Ex-showroom prices, Insurance, Registration and prevailing discounts on the vehicles. You may or may not have been arrived at a decision of purchasing a Model while generating a quote request

Competitive Bid- Competitive Bid- We take a fully refundable token Rs 5000/- per Bid. This gives dealers confidence that you are ready to purchase customer and have finalized the exact Model-variant-Colour and have a very high probability of purchasing and looking for the best available Deals/offers. Thus, dealers make every effort to give you the best offers and win the business

Choose the best offer that suits you and request for Physical proforma invoice, get dealer details and book the car with the Selected Dealer by referring unique Response ID

• How much it costs

BidCar services are absolutely free, We have two separate services that we offer to our customers!

First, Free Quotations- We provide a Free Dealer Quote Report for any new Car. Simply select your desired Car and Dealers will send you a Price quotes which can be views on your Dashboard with detailed information on the Ex-showroom prices, Insurance, Registration and prevailing discounts on the vehicles. Just request for Physical copy of Proforma and Buy

Second, Competitive Bid- We offer a Premium service at a fully refundable token of Rs 5000/- which empowers you to raise competitive Bids for best offers across India. After you submit your desired vehicle configuration and completed the registration, we send that request out to dealers in your local area and Pan India. These dealers then submit their best offer for the vehicle in final, drive-away prices

• What if some Dealers quote/Bid price and not delivering/ booking as per the same

We continuously monitor for quality and strictly discourage such practices, however, if a dealer deviate from the quoted price, he will no longer be receiving Bid requests from BidCar platform until further approvals

• When and why do I need to pay a Token/deposit? Is it refundable

This is necessary because we intend to have a fair transaction and provide a platform to actual buyers to dig out the best drive away prices and for the Dealers to quote their best prices. The deposit is fully refundable simply upload the invoice, Insurance and registration certificate within 30 days of raising the bid and we will refund you the Token/deposit in Full. Please refer to the detailed T&C for the same

• What if I have a trade-in/Exchange of old car

We propose to avoid selling your existing car with new car purchase, we always recommended that you settle on the price of the new vehicle before you discuss the price of your trade-in. This makes the New car Deal more transparent and prevents the seller to give the appearance of a great trade-in value with a smaller discount on the new car (or vice versa)

The best approach is to find the dealer with the best price on the new car and then make sure that dealer gives you fair value on your trade-in by getting the best Book value for your car thru various used car dealers and platforms. Else Sell your existing car to the highest Bidder

• Are the offers I receive on exactly what I will pay when I visit the dealership to pick up my car

Yes. Dealers have agreed to honour the offers they present you. However, the final price may increase in-case of change in Government norms taxes or the price changes by the OEM or if you decide to purchase “extras/accessories etc” at the dealership, such as an extended warranty, rust proofing, etc.

• How is it different from an auto-broker

Brokers usually shop your requirement to a select few “preferred dealerships” at your expense. Our Platform is completely automated. The Platform sends your quote directly to the dealerships and the dealerships send their quote directly back to you. This all happens in real time

We do not have a preferred dealership network, your quote gets sent anonymously to every dealership in your region/s, given each dealership the same chance to win your business. This ensures you get the best buying conditions

We do not negotiate on your behalf, but rather provide a platform for a fair and transparent competition between far more dealerships than an auto broker will usually contact. We also provide you with full pricing transparency by showing you detailed offer

Typically, brokers only deal with a limited number of partnered dealerships and provide no transparency to you regarding how many dealers have been contacted and what prices were negotiated with each

• Can I request quotes from interstate Dealer

BidCar platform allows you the same freedom as you currently have, to contact any interstate dealership/s for a quote on your next new car. BidCar does all the leg work for you, efficiently, timely and most importantly anonymously, giving you the space to make your decision

If you choose to purchase the car from an interstate dealership you will be responsible for the freight/transportation/ and other taxes applicable thereon of the car as these costs are not included in the quotes provided on the system

• Can I finalize my transaction online? Will you help ship/ register/finance the car to me

Post closure of the bid and requesting the physical proforma of the Deal of choice. Rest all transactions must be finalized in person at a dealership. The registration and the entire formalities of the car is taken care by the respective dealership. The cost for the same is included in final drive away prices, we do arrange shipping of vehicles at additional best negotiated prices. BidCar Trust Buddy will surely try and help you in getting all the formalities completed

• Am I protected from unsolicited calls or emails from dealers? What about my privacy

The entire focus of BidCar is to ensure our car buyers have an efficient way of finding the car of their choice at the best price, but just as important is keeping your identity confidential until you are ready to make your decision. Your personal information is collected, stored and used only for the purposes outlined in the system. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals and organisations that we receive information from

• What happens to my data

Your data will remain in our database for a period of 3 years. After 3 years the data will be purged from the database and will not be available for current or historical purposes. For more information on your rights to privacy please view our entire privacy policy

• How are Registration/fast-tag/TCS etc. calculated

The on-road price estimate also includes all relevant government charges including, registration, fast-tag, TCS etc wherever applicable

BidCar has taken every measure to ensure these fees are close to exact, however please only rely on these as very close estimates when making your decision. We have included the estimates of these fees to allow customers to compare all quotes side by side. The Government charges may vary due to changes in the methods used by the government to calculate these costs or from time to time When you choose the winning dealership and begin the purchase process the dealership will provide you with an exact cost for all fees relevant to your vehicle choice. The final charges will be as per the physical booking done between Dealer and you executed at the chosen Dealership

Please be aware if you are purchasing the car from an interstate dealership there may be additional costs for permits or inspections required to transport an unregistered vehicle

• Am I buying a car over the internet using BidCar®

No. The BidCar platform, system and administrator never form any legal vehicle sales agreement between themselves, the winning dealership, or the customer. The system simply creates a platform for you to receive quotes anonymously from dealerships across India and gives the power of competitive bidding in the hands of consumer. The purchase of the car and delivery is organised between the dealership and yourself

When you accept the winning Bid or any Quote, the system will send your contact details to the winning dealership and a summary of the vehicle quote and all contact details of the winning dealership. You are then free to organise purchase and delivery of your new car. BidCar Trust Buddy will help you for smooth delivery of the car

• How do you ensure my credit card and personal information is safe

• Does BidCar provide any warranty on the cars

No, The New car warranty repairs etc will be as per policies of respective OEMs (Original equipment Manufacturer)

• What all should I check before paying the final amount and collecting the delivery of my car

Do remember to check the final Deal, physically inspect the condition of the vehicle as well as the necessary documents before taking the Delivery of your Car
